Light, matter, movement: a new paradigm for contemporary living.
There is a primordial energy in the sea, a force that sculpts the coast and traces ever-changing geometries. ONDA, the new collection by Febal Casa designed in collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects, translates this essence into a design language where space, light and matter come together in a dynamic balance.
“This collaboration represents a key step in Febal Casa ‘s journey into the world of design. Our design, meticulous in detail and attentive to functionality, has merged with the vision of Zaha Hadid Architects, a firm capable of drawing inspiration from the fluidity of nature to give life to organic and dynamic forms. It is a meeting of two worlds: the precision of design and architecture that transcends the boundaries of static .” Emanuel Colombini, President and CDO Colombini Group, emphasizes.
The collection reinterprets the dialogue between nature and design, a theme that represents the design culture of Febal Casa, deeply linked to the typical wave of the Adriatic Riviera. Here, where the sea shapes the landscape in a perpetual process, an aesthetic vision is born that can transform the suggestions of nature into fluid and contemporary forms. “What we love about this project is realizing the dream that designers and artists have long cultivated: recreating the subtle beauty of Nature.” Patrik Schumacher – Principal, Zaha Hadid Architects.
The sculpted forms of ONDA transform matter into movement, resulting in a collection in which light and spatial perception become an integral part of the design. Glass surfaces, crossed by light waves, evoke the depth of water and its changing reflection, offering an aesthetic in constant transformation.
This collection marks a new chapter for Febal Casa, combining aesthetic research with anadvanced production capacity to bring into homes not just furniture, but real elements of architecture.
